These four birds were highlighted in a paper describing spring arrival dates of migrants over the course of 30 years. Seven of eighteen species studied showed significant trends in arrival dates, four of these were shown in the figure. Black-headed Grosbeak, Warbling Vireo, and Western Tanager arrive 12 - 16 days earlier than they did 30 years ago while Willow Flycatchers arrive two weeks later.
